AuthoredUp is a good product and its editor is better than ours. The split is not quality, it is who the work is for: theirs is built around a team publishing under its own names, ours around writing as clients who need to sign the post off first.

Their Business plan is $14.95 per profile with a three-profile minimum, so ten profiles is $149.50. Ours is $59 for the first five and $9 for each one after. At a single account they are $19.95 and we are $19 — close enough that price should not decide it.

Stay with AuthoredUp if

These are things they do better, or that we do not do at all.

You want to write inside LinkedIn itself. Their extension formats and previews on the page you are already on. Ours is a separate workspace, which is the wrong shape if you like writing in the feed.
Company pages matter to you. They include unlimited company pages at no extra cost. We are built around personal profiles and charge per connected account.
The editor is the product for you. Readability grading, hook libraries and multi-device preview are years ahead of ours and we are not going to pretend otherwise.
Maturity matters more than fit. They have shipped for years and we are new. That is a fair reason to wait.

Choose Hypelio if

These are the reasons people actually switch.

Your client has to approve the post. Sign-off reaches them as a link they can act on without creating an account. Draft collaboration inside your own team is a different problem.
Every client sounds different. A voice profile per account, trained on what that person has already published — not one house style with a tone setting.
You are past three accounts. Their Business plan starts at three profiles and bills per profile from there. Ours gets cheaper per account as the roster grows, and ten costs $104.
The report goes to the client, not to you. Per-client reporting that survives a renewal conversation, rather than a team analytics rollup.

AuthoredUp Individual is $19.95 a month, or $16.63 billed yearly. Solo here is $19. There is nothing in it, so pick on the editor rather than the invoice.

Their Business plan is $14.95 per profile, so five is $74.75. Studio here covers five for $59. The gap is real but small enough that workflow should decide it.

Twenty accounts

Twenty profiles at $14.95 is $299. Agency here is $149 flat. Per-profile pricing is honest and simple; it just does not bend as the roster grows, and ours does.

Their yearly rates are lower than the monthly ones quoted here, and above ten profiles they quote a Custom plan we cannot price for you. If you are at that size, get both numbers before you move.

The ones people actually ask

Is Hypelio just AuthoredUp with approvals bolted on?+
No, because the approval step is what everything else is arranged around. Once a post has to be signed off by the person whose name goes on it, you need a voice per account, a client-facing link, a queue that can hold work in review, and reporting that leaves your workspace. AuthoredUp is arranged around the writing, and it is very good at it.
Can AuthoredUp manage several client accounts?+
Their Business plan bills per connected profile and adds team analytics, shared drafts and role-based access, so more than one profile is clearly supported. What their site does not describe is a client-facing approval step for someone outside your organisation. If your clients sign off by message or screenshot today, that is the difference worth testing.
Does Hypelio work inside LinkedIn like their extension?+
No. Hypelio is a separate workspace that publishes through the official LinkedIn API rather than a browser extension acting in your session. That is a genuine trade: you lose writing in the feed, and you gain an account connection that does not depend on staying logged in on one machine.
Do you have their hook library and readability grading?+
Not to the same depth. We check where the fold cuts, how long your sentences run and which phrases read as AI, and our free post roaster does the same thing without an account. Their editor is more thorough and has had far longer to get there.
What happens to my content if I leave?+
Posts, drafts and analytics stay exportable for ninety days after a subscription ends. The same door works in reverse, so bringing drafts across from anywhere is a paste rather than a migration project.
