Comparison

The Taplio alternative built for a client roster

Taplio is a good product. If you are one person growing one profile and you want leads out the other end, it is probably the better buy. This page is for the other case: you write for ten people, each of them sounds different, someone has to approve the post, and you would like the price for that on a page rather than at the end of a sales call.

Taplio details on this page were read from taplio.com on 19 August 2026 and reflect their published plans on that date. Products change. Check their site before you decide, and tell us if anything here is out of date — we will fix it.

The short version

Two different jobs, honestly described

We would rather you buy the right tool than buy ours. Read both columns.

Stay with Taplio if

These are things we do not do, and are not planning to.

Lead generation is the point. Their Pro plan carries a lead database, auto-DMs and bulk connection requests. We have no equivalent and will not build one.
You want the biggest inspiration library. Theirs is far larger than ours and has been running for years.
You run one profile — your own. At one account the multi-account machinery is weight you are carrying for nothing.
Maturity matters more than fit. They have shipped for years and we are new. That is a fair reason to wait.

Choose Hypelio if

This is the whole product, not a tier of it.

You publish for other people. Every account gets its own voice profile, its own queue and its own numbers — not one template bank shared across clients.
Someone has to approve the post. Your client sees one link, approves or comments, and never needs an account with us.
You want the ten-account price on a page. Ours is published and works out at $104 a month. Theirs is a conversation.
You never want to hold a client’s password. Each account is connected by its owner, and we publish through the official LinkedIn API.

Where a cell says “not published”, it means we could not find the capability documented on taplio.com on 19 August 2026 — not that it definitely does not exist. If you work at Taplio and we have this wrong, write to us and we will correct the row.

Taplio’s published plans on 19 August 2026 were Starter $39, Growth $69 and Pro $199 a month, with annual billing cheaper. They do not publish a team or agency price, so we have not guessed one. Our figures are the ones on our own pricing page and include every teammate — we charge for connected accounts, not seats.

Where Taplio is genuinely the better product

If your reason for buying is pipeline rather than publishing, they win and it is not close. Their Pro plan carries a lead database, auto-DMs, bulk connection requests and a mature engagement toolkit, all of which we have chosen not to build because we publish through the official LinkedIn API only. Their inspiration corpus is larger than ours. They have been shipping for years and we have not. If you are one person growing one profile and the goal is leads, buy Taplio — we would rather say that here than have you find it out after a month.

Switching

Moving over takes an afternoon

There is no migration project here, and no reason to cancel anything on day one.

01

Bring your drafts

Export what you have and paste it in, or start the queue from scratch. Nothing is locked to us either, so the same door works in reverse.

02

Send each client an invite

They authorise their own LinkedIn account from a link. You never ask for a password, and they can revoke it themselves at any point.

03

Set the voice per account

Point each workspace at that person’s recent posts. Drafts start sounding like them rather than like a template.

04

Run both for a fortnight

Our trial is fourteen days for exactly this reason. Publish from here, keep the other subscription, and cancel only once you are sure.

Questions

The ones people actually ask

Is Hypelio just a cheaper Taplio?+
No, and copying them at a discount would be a bad plan. Taplio is built around one person growing one profile and turning attention into leads. We are built around one person publishing for many others, so the things we spent our time on — a voice per account, approvals a client can use without an account, per-client reporting, per-account pricing — are things Taplio treats as edges rather than the centre.
Can I manage several accounts on Taplio?+
Yes. Organisation management appears on their Growth plan at $69 a month, and writers can collaborate on all plans. The difference is where it sits: for them multi-account is a feature further up the ladder, and team pricing is a sales conversation. For us it is the product, and the price for ten accounts is printed on the pricing page.
Do you have the lead database and the DM automation?+
No, and we are not going to. We publish through the official LinkedIn API, which does not offer bulk connection requests or automated DMs. That is a real limitation and you should weigh it. What you get in return is a tool that does not put a client’s account at risk, which matters more when the account is not yours.
Will my client have to create an account?+
Only to connect their own LinkedIn, which they do once from an invite link. After that, approvals reach them as a link they can open and act on without logging in anywhere. Most clients never sign in to us at all.
What happens to my content if I leave?+
Posts, drafts and analytics stay exportable for ninety days after a subscription ends. We would rather lose an argument about lock-in than win one.
You are new. Why should I trust the roadmap?+
Being new is a fair objection and we are not going to talk you out of it. What we can do is keep the trial long enough to test properly, publish the price rather than negotiate it, and leave the export door open. Run both tools for a fortnight and let the work decide.

Try it against your own roster

Fourteen days, no card, and every account you connect stays yours to disconnect. Keep your other subscription running while you test.
